For a park built around two of Disney's biggest coasters, that's a useful anchor for a day planned around younger riders instead.

Ride these at rope drop

Two attractions swing hard enough that timing changes the math. Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway averages 36 minutes overall but starts the day at 15.5 minutes (8am) before climbing to 48.4 minutes by 11am. Toy Story Mania! follows the same shape: 21.7 minutes at 8am versus 46.4 minutes at its 7pm worst hour. Both are strong picks for the first hour after the park opens.

The meet-and-greets, timed right

Meet Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight averages 17.9 minutes, best at 9am (9.5 minutes) and worst at noon (22.4 minutes). Meet Disney Stars at Red Carpet Dreams runs longer overall — 31.6 minutes average — with the same pattern: 18.4 minutes at 9am versus 39.8 minutes by 8pm. Get both done before mid-morning.

One coaster worth trying

Alien Swirling Saucers averages 20 minutes, the gentlest coaster-style ride in the park for a young rider. Even its worst hour, 1pm, only reaches 32 minutes — manageable if you can't make it there first thing.
