Disney World Adds Four Good to Go Days: October 26 to 29

Walt Disney World has designated four consecutive Good to Go Days for Annual Passholders: Monday, October 26 through Thursday, October 29, 2026. On a Good to Go Day, qualifying passholders can walk into a theme park without first holding a park reservation. The dates were added on October 22 and appear as green circles on Disney's Annual Passholder calendar, which Disney updates weekly, so more may follow (MickeyBlog, WDWMagic).
That is a four-day block in a month that started with a single such date, Tuesday, October 6 (WDWNT).
What a Good to Go Day actually changes
The perk removes the reservation step, not every restriction. Per WDWNT's rundown of the program, all four Annual Pass tiers qualify, and blockout dates and capacity limits still apply on a Good to Go Day (WDWNT). Two more details from the same source are worth knowing before you change your plans:
- If you already hold a park reservation on a date that later becomes a Good to Go Day, Disney removes it from your maximum reservation count automatically. It may still appear under My Plans in the My Disney Experience app, and you do not need to cancel it yourself.
- Reservations are generally not required for passholder entry after 2pm on any date, with the exception of Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays.
So the practical gain is morning access without planning ahead, on four days, at whichever of the four parks you feel like that morning.
Which of the four days is lightest
October 26 to 29 is a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Here is what each of those weekdays typically looks like in our wait-time data, park by park:
| Park | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Magic Kingdom | 16 | 13.5 | 18.6 | 18.9 |
| EPCOT | 26.7 | 24.9 | 22.6 | 23.4 |
| Disney's Hollywood Studios | 26.9 | 31.4 | 25 | 25.5 |
| Disney's Animal Kingdom | 22.8 | 18.3 | 15.6 | 16.4 |
Park-wide average wait, in minutes.
Three of the four parks run lightest on the Wednesday of this block: EPCOT at 22.6 minutes, Hollywood Studios at 25, Animal Kingdom at 15.6. Magic Kingdom is the exception — its lightest day of the whole week is Tuesday, at 13.5 minutes, and its Wednesday figure of 18.6 is 5.1 minutes worse than that (18.6 − 13.5).
If you are picking one day and one park out of this block, the two standout combinations are Magic Kingdom on Tuesday the 27th (13.5) and Animal Kingdom on Wednesday the 28th (15.6). The combination to avoid is Hollywood Studios on Tuesday the 27th, at 31.4 minutes — the heaviest single cell in the table, and 6.4 minutes above the same park on Wednesday (31.4 − 25).
One honest caveat
Those figures describe how each weekday typically behaves. They are not a forecast for these four specific dates, and the Good to Go designation is itself a reason for caution: removing the reservation requirement on four days in a row adds passholder demand that was not there when the baseline formed. Treat the table as the starting point and the live numbers as the decision.
The same logic applied to October 6, Magic Kingdom's quietest weekday, when it became the month's first Good to Go Day. The quietest day on paper is also the easiest day for a reservation-free crowd to find.
The short version
- Four Good to Go Days: Monday, October 26 through Thursday, October 29, 2026
- No park reservation needed for qualifying Annual Passholders; blockout dates and capacity limits still apply
- Existing reservations on those dates stop counting against your reservation maximum automatically
- Wednesday the 28th is the lightest of the four days at EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom
- Tuesday the 27th is the lightest at Magic Kingdom, at 13.5 minutes park-wide
- Disney updates the passholder calendar weekly, so more dates can appear
