Noon is the single worst hour of the day at four of the major Orlando parks in our wait-time data — and Hollywood Studios feels it hardest among Disney's parks, with that noon hour averaging 40.0 minutes per ride. Epic Universe's noon hour runs even higher, at 45.8 minutes per ride across its 13 attractions — the highest hourly figure we track anywhere.

Noon wins at half the parks

Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epic Universe, and Islands of Adventure all post their single worst hour at noon. It's the point where rope-drop guests are backfilling headliners while later arrivals stream in, and where lunch crowds cluster near the biggest rides instead of spreading out.

Two parks buck the noon pattern entirely. EPCOT's worst hour comes an hour earlier, at 11am — its Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Test Track queues build fastest right before the traditional lunch rush. Magic Kingdom's worst hour is 7pm, not midday at all — evening crowds converge on Fantasyland and Tomorrowland well after the noon peak has already passed. Universal Studios Florida's worst hour is 3pm, and SeaWorld Orlando's is 4pm — both parks peak deep into the afternoon.

The outlier: SeaWorld's 391% swing

SeaWorld Orlando has the lowest absolute worst-hour wait on this list (22.6 minutes at 4pm) — lower than every other park's best hour except Islands of Adventure and Magic Kingdom. But it has by far the largest relative swing: a 391% increase from its 8am low. If you're at SeaWorld at rope drop, the park can feel nearly empty. Don't assume that holds all day.

What survives the worst hour

A few attractions barely move even during their park's worst hour:

• Wildlife Express Train (Animal Kingdom) — only 7.8 minutes even at noon, the park's worst hour.
• Country Bear Musical Jamboree (Magic Kingdom) — flat at 10 minutes regardless of hour, including 7pm.
• Slimey's Slider (SeaWorld Orlando) — tops out at 7 minutes even at 7pm, its listed worst hour.
• Storm Force Accelatron (Islands of Adventure) — ranges only 4.9 to 5.6 minutes across the entire day.
