12 Orlando Rides You Can Almost Always Walk Onto

Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at Hollywood Studios averages a 6.6-minute wait in our wait-time data. Slinky Dog Dash, in the same park, averages 56.0 minutes — more than 8 times longer, a few hundred feet away.
Every park has rides like Star Tours: attractions with enough capacity, or little enough demand, that they almost never build a real line. Here are 12 of them, spread across the major Orlando parks.
The 12 rides (Disney parks first)
| # | Ride | Park | Avg wait (min) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Wildlife Express Train | Animal Kingdom | 6.3 |
| 2 | Prince Charming Regal Carrousel | Magic Kingdom | 6.4 |
| 3 | Star Tours – The Adventures Continue | Hollywood Studios | 6.6 |
| 4 | Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros | EPCOT | 6.8 |
| 5 | The Magic Carpets of Aladdin | Magic Kingdom | 6.9 |
| 6 | Storm Force Accelatron | Islands of Adventure | 5.2 |
| 7 | Slimey's Slider | SeaWorld Orlando | 5.8 |

| 9 | The Cat in The Hat | Islands of Adventure | 6.8 |
| 10 | Kraken | SeaWorld Orlando | 7.0 |
| 11 | Bowser Jr. Challenge | Epic Universe | 7.7 |
| 12 | Kang & Kodos' Twirl 'n Hurl | Universal Studios Florida | 10.1 |
The rides worth calling out
Star Tours at Hollywood Studios shares a park with three attractions averaging over 40 minutes (Slinky Dog Dash, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance). Its own 6.6-minute average makes it the easiest add-on to any Hollywood Studios day.
Kraken, a full-size floorless coaster, is the surprise on this list. Most walk-on attractions are kiddie rides or slow-loading dark rides. Kraken is a genuine thrill coaster averaging a 7-minute wait — proof that high-capacity layout matters more than ride type.
Bowser Jr. Challenge is the outlier for a different reason: it sits inside Epic Universe, one of the busiest parks we track by park-wide hourly average. Even there, one ride manages to stay near-empty most of the day.
How to use this list
None of these are must-do headliners, which is exactly the point. Slot them into the gaps in your day — the 20 minutes after lunch, the walk between lands, the moment your group can't agree on what's next. You will not build meaningful wait time by adding any of them.
For the opposite question — which park has the shortest lines overall — see Which Orlando park has the shortest lines. If you are touring Epic Universe specifically, these are the rides worth skipping when the headliners are running long. Solo travelers should also check Universal's single rider lines for a second way to cut wait on the bigger coasters, and if you're weighing whether a big-name ride is worth the queue at all, read rides that aren't worth the wait.
Check current conditions before you go at Animal Kingdom, Islands of Adventure, and SeaWorld Orlando.
